Obituary for Patricia "Patty" Faye Goodyear
Patricia (Patty) Faye Goodyear, age 75, of Boomer, WV, was born on February 16, 1943, and was called to rest on January 9, 2019, after a lengthy illness. She was one of four children born to Violet Proctor.
Patricia worked at Lopez Restaurant for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother. She leaves to mourn, her husband Claude of Boomer; daughter Susan (Shawn) James of Summersville with whom she resided with during her illness; three sisters: Charlotte Jewell of Mammoth, WV; Brenda Burns (Edward) of Mammoth, WV; and Kelly Proctor of Mammoth, WV; granddaughter Abigail James of Summersville; and grandson Lane James of Summersville.
Patty loved being with her grandchildren, Abigail and Lane, and her dogs. She was always active with them, and they loved being with her. She will be sorely missed by her family and her dogs.
