Obituary for John Albert Taylor, III
John Albert Taylor III age 49 of Smithers died February 10, 2019. He was born October 7, 1969 in Montgomery and was the son of Joyce Worstell Taylor and the late John Albert Taylor II.
John’s passion in life was to serve the public. He was a professional firefighter, former fire chief, volunteer firefighter, EMT and also a first responder instructor.
John graduated from Valley High School in Smithers and he was a lifelong resident of Smithers.
Surviving is his wife Beth and he was the proud father of his son John Albert “JT” Taylor, IV; his mother Joyce Taylor; cousin Savannah Blevins and special extended family Tim “Buck” and Nicki Williams.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Gymnasium of the YMCA in Montgomery with Pastor Mark Strickland and Elder Jim Dempsey officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until time of service at the Gym. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com.
