Gary Keith "Pops"  Lowery

Gary Keith “Pops” Lowery age 68 of Robson entered into his eternal rest on May 3, 2019 after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
Gary was born November 27, 1950 to the late George and Mary Brown Lowery. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Phyllis Campbell, Nancy Good and Kay Nickell; brothers Dewey Lowery , Jim Lowery, Wayne Lowery and James “Bud” Lowrey and a special daughter-in-law Amanda ‘Amy” Goode Tabit. Gary enjoyed going to church, spending time with his family, singing gospel music and always had a smile on his face with a cup of coffee in his hand.
Surviving: wife Nova Lowery and special canine companion Chase; two children he considered and loved as his own Christopher Tabit (Michelle) of Summersville and Stephanie Tabit-Finley (Daniel) of Bradley; three very special grandsons Michael Chance and Joe and brother Tom (Eva) Lowery of Dunbar. He had several nieces and nephews along with many special extended family members from his current marriage.
Gary’s family would like to extend a special ‘Thank You” to Dr. Al-Asadi and his staff for the care they have provided over the last several years. They would also like to thank Chasty, Eden and Jane of MICU at CAMC Memorial for the care they provided during his last days.
Friends may call on Monday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery from 5:00 PM until service time at 6:30 PM with Rev. Jeff Floyd officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
